Hi Doreen Iv'e just looked up Clarity stamps site & she sells Adirondack wich she uses with her stamps & brayer on TV..so this should be OK as Barbara uses glossy card..also have looked up Memories ink pads as they too are DYE Based so good with markers take a look at this link

Hi Doreen
I use Memento Tuxedo Black by Tsukineko; it is fade resistant dye ink- "For Lasting Impressions". Have you ever used it? I find that it gives a very neat impression and takes Letraset Promarkers very well. If you can get your hands on a pad, try it. xx

Hi Doreen, 'fraid I can't get memento to dry on shiny card not even heat setting works for me. I tend to use shiny card for digi images or for matting and layering or even as you say embossing the line image. Let me know if you find a solution though, would be interested to hear. Sorry couldn't help any more ;0) xx

I think embossing is the only answer I'm afraid.
Good luck!

I have tried Memento Tuxedo black but as someone else said it doesn't dry too great unless I leave it overnight! Embossing works well on it but I tend to save my glossy card for alcohol inks and brayering!

I have found a really good and affordabe cardstock to use with promarkers is Create and Craft 200gsm, I get mine from Wilkinsons and I think it is about £4.00 (ish) for 75 A4 sheets!

Let me know how you get on with the glossy!

I see that you have some options listed in the comments above. I'm glad since I have no clue. I thought StaZon was the end all of all inks.
Thanks for telling me about the distressing tool. It makes your cards unique and special.

I would try heat embossing , use a clear embossing powder and then gently heat from behind your paper. Will make the colours look nice and glossy too , this only works if your glossy card is heat resistant so test a bit of scrap. I have some pens, wet look embossing markers , they give a lovely glossy look .

I would normally recommend Memento - but with glossy card you would need to let the ink dry. stazon does not work with promarkers. hi there, I have been back from India from my wedding for a while, and now have just started to get back into the swing of things. Slowly but surely. A stunning card, I have enjoyed reading and catching up on your blog. Thank you for your support on my blog.
