Inspire

I have been playing with my Gelli Plate again....
I had lots of brown paper that had been used in packaging it had been screwed up so had lots of lovely creases in it.  I decided to use this on my Gelli Plate...
Wow I had some great results.

This background was made using blue and white Acrylic paint, after brayering this onto the plate I just dabbed some scrunched up tissue paper all over the paint to give it some texture, I then laid my brown paper over the top and rubbed all over before lifting it off. When this was dry I stamped my Poppy stamp with Black Versafine and then coloured with Distress inks. The sentiment was then stamped using Denim Archival ink.

  1. This is really beautiful Doreen. I don't like getting messy, it stems from my childhood in my Mum cleaning me up all the time and only being allowed one toy at a time. Could never have a tea party with only one doll out and not the tea set. Lol!!! Your creation is awesome.
