I have a project for the Paper Artsy challenge which this time is all about Deconstruction . My inspiration came from Pam Thorburn and a you tube video from Leandra on painting onto tissue paper (Thank you so much for this Leandra)...I decided I wanted to cover a notelet box with my own painted tissue paper, making my own Decoupage Paper.
I set about making my papers first, brayering on Fresco Acrylics Sky,CandyFloss and South Pacific
Once dry I tore it all up into roughly 3cm pieces
These were all glued on with diluted PVA glue to cover both the inside and out.
I decoated with some flowers that I made using the JOFY 24 stampsheet ,I stamped them out painted them with Faded Jeans distress ink and highlighted with a white pen then cut them out and stuck them in place finishing them off with a button in the middle.
The inside of the lid I decorated with a Doily stencil and some texture paste
All in all this turned out fabulous, not sure what I will use this for yet....Maybe a jewelery case.xxx
What a lovely box. So cute
