Inspire

I have been playing with my Gelli Plate again....
I had lots of brown paper that had been used in packaging it had been screwed up so had lots of lovely creases in it.  I decided to use this on my Gelli Plate...
Wow I had some great results.

This background was made using blue and white Acrylic paint, after brayering this onto the plate I just dabbed some scrunched up tissue paper all over the paint to give it some texture, I then laid my brown paper over the top and rubbed all over before lifting it off. When this was dry I stamped my Poppy stamp with Black Versafine and then coloured with Distress inks. The sentiment was then stamped using Denim Archival ink.

A Tag Today

Hello to you all.
I am sharing a tag today

The background has been made with Pan Pastels, I also coloured in the flowers with pan Pastels. I mixed the colour with some odourless thinners to make a paint with them.
The stamps are part of my winnings from That's Crafty I won their challenge a couple of weeks back and had £20 to spend in their shop.

Toms Mixed Media card

Hello to you all
I have Toms's Birthday card to share, it is not until Wednesday but there is no chance he will see it, he is of the old School and won't touch the internet....

Any way I have used a Gelli print that I over stamped with a script stamp and a barbed wire stamp, I then painted over this with some Mod Podge (gives a lovely sheen even though it is Matt.
The bird is one of Dina Wakley's Scribbly Bird stamp which I have stamped onto another Gelli Print and fussy cut. The butterfly is a Finnabair stamp again stamped and fussy cut from a Gelli print.xxx
