Hello to you all I have been having another play with various colours of distress inks, this is what I came up with...Not sure if it is a bit busy,I used Tims tissue wrap for the background again and just toned it down with some Gesso.The Distress inks I used are Worn Lipstick and Scattered Straw with some Black soot around the edges.xxx

Hello to you all...It's a little cooler here today,just right now.....I am sharing Wall tag 30 today. I started by coating a tag with gesso then some blue and pink acrylic....I also used some glitter gel through a stencilbefore adding my doll and a few die-cuts. I hope you like it.xxx

  I have decided to do a  scrapbook page today as I do need to catch up with some photographs..
This is for an 8inch x8inch album, it is for a holiday we had in Kos.
My background is made entirely of PanPastels and a couple of stencils, even the hearts were punched out in white card and coloured with pans.

CliffHanger

Hello to you all , I am back  sharing a Christmas card today. The challenge over at Indigo Blu are looking for Christmas in July projects......I have used the "Cliffhanger" stamp for my card....I started by making my background using Faded Jeans distress ink and masking off the hills and moon then I stamped my image and matted onto some black card.xxx

Chocolate Baroque "Best Wishes"

Hello to you all, I am back with another sample made from the new stamps that have just been released for July over at Chocolate Baroque. My card uses one of the stamps from 

"Harlequin Fragments"

I first inked up my card with Picked Raspberry and Faded Jeans Distress inks then I sprayed my fragment stamp with water and stamped this onto the inked card. This then removes the ink......

Once this was dry I then stamped the Harebell Butterfly image over the top and coloured in with distress inks.  I inked the edge with Black Soot to add depth then mounted onto white card.

I am also sharing a Christmas card this time using stamps from the newly released  "Turtle Doves stamp sheet". I first of all clear embossed the stamp with black Versafine then using a mask for the moon blended Faded Jeans and Black Soot distress inks for the sky. The hills in the background were made using some torn card and  more fade jeans on some sponge.The tree has been coloured in with Distress inks and the gorgeous sentiment is from the newly released Christmas Magic stamp sheet.xxx

Another Gelli make

Hello to you all, I was having another play with my Gelli Plate last night and produced about 50 usable backing papers in all sorts of colours......Wow how cool is that printing your own papers without a printer.I just need to get some more stencils and Acrylic paints  for the job....Anyway this is what I put together today. The butterflies were made with scraps that I cleaned my roller on, co-ordinates beautifully.

Wall Tag 29

Oops I forgot last weeks tag,I don't know where the time is flying to, wow three weeks into July!!!!

Anyway back to my tag,this has been made with craft card and coloured with PanPastels.For the backing I used Orange tint and Burnt Sienna then stamped on various stamps with black Versafine. The bird has been coloured with Permanent Red and Burnt Sienna.

Hello to you all I am back with my inspiration project for the challenge

Inspired by Tim

I don't own a lot of Tim's stuff and am inspired more by his grunge but I tend to do pretty grunge.

This is another wooden plaque that I have decorated...I have scrunched up some of Tims tissue wrap and loosely stuck it down leaving plenty of texture when dry gave it a light coat of Gesso..

Once this was dry I sponged on some Chromium Oxide Green Shade PanPastels,I then lightly dabbed a sponnge that had been dipped in Versamark ink pad over the parts that are sticking up and then sponged over some Phthalo Blue Panpastel 

I then got a soft cloth and polished it all. I then put some light modeling paste through my flower stencil and when dry coloured with Magenta. The sentiment was stamped embossed with blue embossing powder and cut up

I then decorated with some burlap.

A Gelli Background

Hello to you all, I was watching some Barbara Gray you tube videos and decided I quite like the look of this Gelli Printing...So off I went and got myself a Gelli Plate and Brayer,last night I was having a play with some instruction from Barbara and was so made up with my first print I decided to make it into a card...I used Beach Hut and Stone fresco paints and  the Clarity Leafy Swirl stencil... I  know I will be doing this a lot more I loved making my own backgrounds.xxx

Every Flower

Hello, I am back again, I had planned a day in the garden deadheading and general tidying, I never thought I would admit defeat because of the heat.....So as it was to hot to garden the next best thing to do is craft....

I started this by first gluing Tims tissue onto the card then giving a thin coat of Gesso to mute the colour  after this I distressed the edges with Picked Raspberry distress ink the main stamp came next and I coloured the flowers with Picked Raspberry.The roses were stamped and coloured next followed by the sentiment.xxx

Snowy Scenes at Chocolate Baroque

Hello to you all,We have some lovely new Christmas stamps being released over at Chocolate Baroque

I have two shares today using stamps from the "Snowy Scenes" stamp sheet.

I have inked my stamp up with Cornflower Blue Archival Ink and clear embossed,I then cut another panel and stamped the Snowflakes in the same colour. The edges were then inked up and I mounted both panels onto some white and blue card. The sentiment is from the clear Christmas sentiments set

And I have decorated a wooden plaque for this one using Acrylic paints for the background and glitter around the edges. Both images have been coloured with distress inks .  The stars are die cuts that I painted and glittered

A New Colour Challenge over at Chocolate Baroque

This is a Colour Challenge.

I have made a tag using the colours,I first coloured my background with  Peacock Feathers and Mowed Lawn Distress inks using a stencil I sponged through some more of the same colours.I then stamped my images and sentiment using Black Versafine...My butterflies were stamped and coloured  with Festive Berries and Squeezed Lemonade distress Inks then cut out and attached to my tag

Cherry Blossom

Hello to you all, I thought I would make something with some of my winnings from Imagination Crafts. And yes I have decorated yet another wooden plaque. I first gave a coat of Gesso before going over it with some Inky Pool Fresco paint,once dry I used the gorgeous Cherry Blossom stencil with some Silver Sparkle Medium.. The word is just a random stencil I had which I thought fitted perfectly.xxx

Hello to you all, I am back with another sample made from the new stamps that have just been released for July over at Chocolate Baroque. My card uses one of the stamps from
"Harlequin Fragments"

This was made by first masking of some of my card before sponging with Faded Jeans Distress ink,then I inked up my stamp with Cornflower Blue Archival Ink and stamped over the top.

I then removed the masking tape and stamped the Birthday Words sentiment. I used a butterfly stamp from the Harebell Butterfly sheet and decoupaged this.

Inspired by Tim

Hello to you all, I am here today with my post for the challenge over at PanPastel. The theme for this fortnight is
Inspired by Tim
I find Tim a bit grungy which I am not very good at, but this is what Tim has inspired me to do.

I have painted gesso to  the background of of a wooden 6inch x 3inch plaque then when dry covered with Phthalo blue Panpastel . After setting with hairspray I then lightly went over it with some Silver again setting in between layers to stop the colours blending....I dabbed some more Phthalo Blue through Tim's Burlap stencil and stuck down some of Tims tissue wrap with PVA glue ....I stamped the bush image with Black Versafine and clear embossed, I also repeated this for the sentiment.

Next I glued the diamond  cut outs and Tim's Bird and cage dies which I had tried to grunge with some pewter gilding wax.Lastly I added a burlap bow.xxx

A PanPastel Plaque

Hello to you all, I have been having another play with my PanPastels. I have made another wooden plaque..I first painted this with gesso and then black acrylic,when dry stamped up the image with Versamark and sponged over some Silver PanPastel. I then sponged some Versamark through a leaf stencil and again went over with some more PanPastel. The words were given the same treatment and then glued to the plaque. I finally finished this off by giving a couple of coats of watered down PVA glue to protect the surface.xxx
