A JOFY Plaque

Hello...I hope you all have a lovely Easter.

I am sharing a wooden plaque today,

I started by coating my wood with Gesso and then blue acrylic paint.  I inked up a stamp from one of the JOFY sets I think it looks like a wire fence so stamped onto the background.

I then painted on the grass using some green and white paint

The flowers were stamped onto one of my Gelli monoprints and then fussy cut

before adhering to my background.

Last of all came the sentiment and I splattered some white specks all over and edged with

black soot Distress ink.

A Little Bit of Shabby

Hello....My card share today is slightly shabby, I have used one of my Gelli backgrounds and roughed the edges up,the sentiment is from Bee Crafty. I think it would have been better stamped in a lighter colour really, but to late now.   I added some ribbon, flowers and diecut a couple of butterflies.xxx

Mini Albums

Hello to you all, I am so sorry for the lack of blog posts lately, I made a couple of Mini Albums for a change and the family inundated me with orders for more. Much as I have loved making these they are time consuming...

Anyway I quickly photographed the last 4 of them before they were whisked away. I would have liked to have shown you the insides but they were so difficult to take pics of.

Country View Inspiration

Hello to you all,I am back with my second sample  for Country View Crafts and the theme is

Industrial
 I have decided to make a tag this time I have used a Gelli Plate background and stamped
some cogs

I have also used some texture paste through a stencil to give a bit more definition
to my tag

I die cut some cogs using black card and used some gilding wax on them before adhering

them to my tag.

My card share today uses a lovely floral stamp from Unity stamp Co, I have stamped this directly onto some craft card and coloured with Distress inks. I have gone round the edges with pink paint I also painted the corrugated card with the same colour .

Finished off with a sentiment and some flowers.xxx

Hello ....

I have a stormy sky today, Using PanPastels I have layered up quite a few colours today and tried to get a dramatic sky. I have used a couple of  inkylicous satmps and a fabulous Bee Crafty sentiment.xxx

Blogger Outreach

Hello, I am sharing a set of cards today, I have made these using Deco Art products for the Outreach Program.

I started by having a Gelli session armed with just 4 pots of paint, (two Blues,White and Silver) and two stencils. I must say the finish with these paints is so smooth the Metalic Silver added a lovely

shine. The photo's do not do them justice.

I decided to make someThank you cards and a box to hold them in. Each one is different

I Went through the Dandelion stencil with black ink after I cut out what I wanted for my cards then added a sentiment to each of them before attaching them to the card blanks.

Finaly the box that I added some glitter and a Belly Band  to hold my cards

Hello to you all...

I won the Add a Flower challenge over at Crafting By Designs and they were kind enough to ask if I

would be a Guest Designer for them, well I jumped at the offer.

I have a card to share today using some Paper Artsy stamps. These have been stamped with Black Versafine ink over the top of one of my Gelli plate prints. I then doodled some dots on the flowers using a white  pen.xxx

Wow this was a bit of a hard one for me, I wasn't sure what do do for Industrial so I really hope you like my first make.

A card for Dad

I started by die-cutting some pieces I thought might be useful and painted them with a rusting paste

 My background was one of my Gelli papers on which I inked up some stamps from a Hot of the Press set.

I assembled the pieces onto some black card  stuck it down and thought something was missing

 I made a tag and some studs and diecut the Dad word

And this is the finished result
