Music To My Ears

I have made a card for the challenge over at Crafty Individuals,they are looking for some music inspiration this month

I have made a collage with a couple of stamps  "Floral Postcard" and "Springtime Music"

My background for this was made with some scrap paper that I used to clean my brayer whilst having a Gelli plate session I even left the crease in it. I have a large drawer full of Gelli papers and the scrap ones.

Anyway,I stamped my images with Black Versafine masking off the postcard to stamp the music, I then clear embossed...I just coloured the flowers on the postcard with a white pen just to make them pop. I matted this onto some card that I coloured with Distress ink and added a butterfly and tag.xxx

Hello to you all, I have white spaces on my card,a rarity for me.

I first made my background using a Clarity Stencil "Jo's Bubbles" and Distress inks. While the stencil was still in place I drew around the edges with a black micron pen then stamped my images and sentiment...I used the Unity Heart Strings set for this.xxx

Hello to you all, I have been playing with Acrylic paint and Corrugated card today

I dry painted two pieces of corrugated card with white paint one right side and one wrong side.

I stamped my image "Sing"onto the smooth piece with brown Archival ink  and the sentiment that comes with the image onto another piece...I added some lace and buttons and put it altogether

A Wall Plaque

Hello,I hope you have enjoyed your long weekend here in the UK at least the weather was dry can't say much else for it...

I have  made a wooden plaque today for the challenge over at Indigo Blu The challenge is "A Pocketful of Posies" . I first painted the background with some acrylic paints then dabbed some white paint through a stencil.

The image "Rose Blush" was stamped with Black Versafine ink and coloured with some more acrylic paint and last of all I added the sentiment

Magpie day at Country View

Hello to you all,we have a Magpie day over at Country View and are showcasing Scenic Postcards

I have made my background with PanPastels .

I Stamped my butterfly clear embossed it and coloured it with the same colours of PanPastels

My images have been stamped with Versamark and white embossed I then stamped with Frayed Burlap to create a shadow.

I then inked up my postcard stamps and some script.

I made the backgroud with distress inks and by splshing water with a paintbrush. Then clear embossed the images with Black Versafine..I then inked around the edge with Black Soot DI.xxx

Hello to you all, Well my news is ......I am now a DT member of the fabulous Visible Image Stamp Company . I am so excited,I just love their stamps 

I am sharing a card today using just two of their gorgeous stamps Butterfly INKognito and Sunshine Set which I clear embossed....My background has been made with a brayer and some Acrylic paints.

A Blue Birthday

Hello to you all, I have a birthday card to share today using the Flower INKognito stamp from Visible Image, I made this by first masking off the bendy bottom of the card with some paper that I cut to shape. I then covered the top half with Stream Adirondack ink and using the same colour stamped the words and flowers....The happy Birthday was then stamped and cut out and using foam pads stuck around the bend on the card.I got this idea from Darcy and her crossword.
I finished off with a burlap bow.xxx

Friends with Flair Friday

Hello to you all, I am here today with my share for Unitys Friends with Flair.

I have used Harmony Girl today with some distress inks. 

After making the background I Stamped my image and coloured her with Distress inks. I then stamped my sentiment and some raindrops.

Once dry I went all around the edge with some Black Soot Distress ink.xxx

GD for Indigo Blu

Hello to you all, I was picked as one of the top three for the last Challenge at Indigo Blu and was asked if I fancy doing an inspiration post...How could I say No...

The challenge this month is "One Layer"I have made another fridge  magnet with a piece of Stampbord.

I started by first colouring my background with Peacock Feathers Distress ink and edging with Black Soot Distress ink. I then stamped the sentiment from the Take the Time stamp sheet onto my background using Black Versafine ink,once dry I scraped out some highlights with a sharp knife to finish off I silver embossed the edges and stuck a magnet on the back

Hello to you all,I have used up a couple more of my Gelli Papers on this card today also a couple of Visible Image stamps. 

The butterfly  and sentiment have both been inked up with Red Geranium Atchival ink  onto white card and layered onto some red card.. I decided this needed a couple of roses...I haven't used any for ages......I am off to do some blog commenting now I am afraid I have been a bit laxed on this front.xxx

.......I have my card for the FWF.I have used a gorgeous Poppy stamp from the Nov 2014 Kit of the Month. I have inked up my background with some Distress inks then  bleached out some colour using a stencil and baby wipe. I like the way it looks like light coming in through a window.

I then stamped and coloured the poppies, added the sentiment and butterflies.
