Visible Image Inspiration

Hello..

Well this is going to be my last live blog Post for a few weeks. We are moving house and I am having to pack away my craft room. I will still have scheduled posts to share and will try to comment on all your lovely posts as much as possible

I have a Mixed Media canvas to share today, I first painted my canvas with acrylic paints,then using Archival black ink stamped some background stamps "Grunge Harlequin" and "Bronte Script".
My heart was cut out of some card, I  painted this and grunged it up a bit with a black pen. I then stuck this to the canvas with some PVA glue .

I stamped my words from the "This is Me Set" onto some card,cut them out and stuck them down. The canvas was then edged with some red Gelato and once it was all dry I sanded my canvas all over.xxx

Hello...

I have used some Unity Stamp Co stamps today . I made a background with some Distress inks and a splatter of water

I then just clear embossed my stamps using Black Versafine ink. The smaller butterflies were coloured with a Promarker.xxx

Visible Image Inspiration

Hello...Another week has passed and it is Saturday again

I am back  with some inspiration using the gorgeous new Express Yourself  Visible Image stamps.


I have made a background of Distress ink that I have splashed with water,  My butterfly was stamped making sure I left enough room for the words, I then stamped my sentiment "Take the Moment"with black Versafine ink and clear embossed....Last of all I stamped the large Butterfly coloured with distress ink and fussy cut it and stuck this down with some foam pads.



For my second sample, I have made a wall plaque using the shaving foam technique for my background...Once dry I stamped and clear embossed my sentiment "Wake up Awesome" and then put some Sparkle Medium through a stencil

Visible Image Inspiration

Hello..  Well I think Tommy and I are finally recovered from our Monday to Thursday having the two grandaughters to stay while their Mum and Dad had a well deserved Holiday,much as we love them both to bits we are definately out of practice and Immy at 15months certainly kept us on our toes. Ava at almost 7 was a lot easier being at school all day and in my craft room in the evening.

  I am sharing another one of the newly released Express Yourself Stamps  from

Visible Image New Releases

Hello to you all, I am here to let you know   Visible Image stamps.

 have just released lots of new stamps and my card today is using one of those
"Wake up and be Awsome"
I have used some craft card for this. I first used one of the Tim Holtz dies that I cut into the corner of my card which I then spritzed with blue ink and splatered with white paint . Next I stamped my sentiment and embossed it with black detail embossing powder.....This was then matted onto some white card that had been inked all over with orange and blue Distress inks. The butterfly was then stamped, coloured  and attached.

Shabby Chic Inspiration

Hello to you all,I am back with my second sample for Country View Crafts and the theme is

Shabby Chic

I started with a piece of card that I painted with some Green and white paint Fresco Paint, I then stamped the house on to this and added a heart doily and some lace

The little green heart is a Tim Holtz die  The sentiment is from the same set as the house from 

 Paper Artsy

A Moonscape.........

We have the Two Granddaughters coming to stay till Thursday so I don't think I will be around much this week....Its the first time we have had them both stay....Their Mum and Dad are having a well deserved holiday on their own.

 

I am sharing a card I made last week using some new Inkylicious stamps.

 

 

 

Visible Image Inspiration

Hello to you all,I am here today with my very first blog post sharing some inspiration using  Visible Image stamps.

I started off by making my background with Pan Pastels blending together Red , Yellow and Burnt Umber this was then sealed with cheap hairspray.

I then stamped the Feather and Grasses with versamark and white embossed

three times

To get the shadow I reinked the stamps with Frayed Burlap Distress ink and stamped to one side

I also dipped the edges of the card in Versamark and then white embossed.

Last of all,I white embossed the sentiment

Wow I can't believe it is three days since my last blog post, I have been doing some babysitting and stuff I can't show just yet .....

 

Today I have my Friends With Flair make.

I have used stamps from a  Donna Downey set . My background was made with various Distress inks that I put on my glass mat sprayed with water and swirled the card around. xxx

Hello...I am back with another Poppy card This  is "Water Colour Poppy" from Inkylicious.

Such pretty stamps you can arrange them just how you want......

I have simply stamped with Black Soot Distress ink and the coloured them with Distress Inks.

Shabby Chic at Country View

Hello to you all, We have a new challenge starting today over at Country View Challenges and our theme for this month is

Shabby Chic

 I started by printing off a couple of papers by Carina Gardner distressed them a little and then wraped some lace round before sticking them to my card.

I  painted a piece of card with blue and white  Acrylic paints and then stamped the  Paper Artsy Sentiment

I then added the flowers.xxx
