More inky Play

Hello to you all,I hope all you Mums are having a fab time and being spoiled rotten......

My share today involves more inking and getting messy... I have spritzed, distressed, stenciled and painted......The topper is a Papermania Urban stamp I found whilst trying to organise my ever growing collection, The distress inks I used are Chipped Sapphire and Shaded Lilac.The edges have been dry brushed with some white chalk Acrylic paint.

Hello to you all, I was spotlighted in the Making Cards Magazine this month and was sent some gorgeous Indigo Blu stamps for my reward...This is one of them, it is from the Boadicea stamp sheet... I first spritzed some inks onto the card and also sponged through a stencil,dried it and then stamped the image and some words with black versafine ink .I then coloured in with some distress inks.xxx

Hello to you all, my card share today uses another JOFY stamp and some torn paper. I have stamped directly over the designer paper and coloured with distress inks.I have also inked around the torn paper.I love the sentiment which is another JOFY stamp. Hope you like it.xxx

Hello to you all,my share today is a tag, I have done this specifically for Hels Sheridan challenge. A fab prize up for grabs this week.You just need to make something and incorporate her word of the year which is DREAM.I had a  lot of fun with this using the Chocolate Baroque stamp Magical Landscapes. Distress inks  some Gesso and a Creative Expressions stencil. I hope you like it.xxx

Daisy Fields

Hello to you all,my card share today uses an Inkylicious stamp Daisy Fields, I have coloured the sky with Faded Jeans,Weathered Wood and Black Soot distress inks, trying to get a stormy look. Sorry!!!!! I have another card I made using the Jo Firth Young stamps,I really love these, I have to wait before I can treat myself to some more "sob sob" 

Any way I have used some spray inks and distress inks on this. The images were also coloured with distress inks and I have doodled around the edge.The sentiment is also from one of the sets...Love the font xxx

Hello to you all,I have got this weeks tag to show today....I have painted the background with pink and white Acrylic then stamped my image and coloured with distress inks.I have put some texture paste through a stencil and stamped the sentiment. Eastern Grasses

Hello to you all on this gorgeous sunny Sunday.....My card share today uses a Chocolate Baroque stamp, this is one of a set called Eastern Grasses .I have stamped this twice The background has been inked with Broken China and Faded Jeans distress inks and I over stamped with a diamond shape stamp then just went round the edge with a fine liner. 

I am off to have my lunch now and then a spot of gardening I think..Have a fab Sunday whatever you are up to.xxx

Little Claire's Challenge 43

Hello we have a new challenge  over at  Little Claire, this  month we would like to see your

Tags ( A tag on a card or tag cards)

For my share I have used a couple of stamps from the Butterfly Flourish sheet.. I stamped the images with Verasafine and silver embossed, I  then inked up my heart with some Dusty Concord and Shaded Lilac distress inks. Once dry I coloured in with Promarkers and added some more silver embossing..xxx

Funky Flowers

Hello to you all....I have treated myself to some new stamps,I have been admiring these for a while now and thought why not....They are designed by Jo Firth Young and are called JOFY. The backing has been made with Fresco Finish Acrylic paints they have a fab chalky finish. I then stamped the image with Versafine and coloured with more paint.xxx

New Baby

Hello to you all, I thought I would just share the card I made for my Daughters new arrival last week. They are both now home and thriving........

I embossed the backing card and inked it up with Spun Sugar distress ink,the image is a ready coloured  LOTV image and the envelope is from Marianne Crafts.

As you can see they named  her Imogen.

Ferns and Butterflies

Hello to you all,I am sharing a card made for hubby's birthday in a couple of weeks,he won't see this because he never goes near computers......Any way I recall seeing something like this whilst browsing Pinterest and thought I would try it..I first masked off the top and bottom then stamped my image one and a half times across the card.I then masked off the moon and used Pan pastels for the sky and grassy area. I stamped the birds and sentiment last of all before mating onto black and white card.I hope you like it.xxx

Wall Tag 11

Hello to you all,my share today is wall tag 11......I have actually attached two tags together this time, I have painted both with pink acrylic then stamped the Chocolate Baroque stamp "Rose Stem Script"with white acrylic then edged the tag with a plum coloured ink. The tag underneath has been edged with white acrylic and some texture past put through a stencil. The clock stamp was a freebie from a Docrafts  magazine some time ago.xxx

Little Claire March Club Release

Hello to you all I am sharing  another one of the Samples I have made for The March Club stamps being released from Little Claire 

I have stamped the image onto some white card coloured with Pro's then added some Glossy Accents to the face of the clock. The papers are DCWV Floral Foilage and Coredinations that I have embossed and rubbed in some gilding wax.xxx

Two pieces of Fab News

My daughter finally gave birth to her second daughter 13 days late and weighing in at 7lbs14oz.Mother and baby are both fine.


And also, I can finally tell you all my news about a new DT post.....I applied to be considered to join the fabulous Chocolate Baroque design team and Glenda offered me a place.....I am so chuffed, her stamps are just the best and I am really looking forward to working with the talented Design Team.
