Hello to you all I am sharing my inspiration piece for PanPastel. I started by dusting over the Permanent Red Tint followed by some Red and white at the top of my picture, I then blended some Magenta i  the bottom half . I have used stamps from Stampscapes and Chocolate Baroque.xxx

Less is More

Hello I decided to have a go at the Less is More challenge,not realising how much harder it is leaving all this white space. I have used  the bleaching technique with this using Gathered Twigs Distress ink and  an Inkylicious stamp.xxx

A Postcard

Helllo to you all, we have a special post over at Country View Challenges where some of the DT have made something to do with Postcards it is for our Magpie Day....

I have made a vintage postcard sent from a wife to her husband who is fighting in the war.....

I started with a piece of cream cardstock cut down to A6 size,I distressed this with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo distress inks,I then stamped various postcard images and finally stamped the rose and coloured this with distress inks . I frayed some burlap and tied this around.xxx

Just a Note for Chocolate Baroque

Hello to you all, I am back with another sample made from the new stamps that have just been released for August over at Chocolate Baroque. My card uses one of the stamps from the "Thistle Butterfly" stamp sheet.

My background has been inked up with Bundled Sage and Scattered Straw distress inks,then I inked up my image with Black Versafine and coloured with a mix of Distress ink and Acrylic Paint. Last of all came my sentiment.xxx

Pink and More Pink at PanPastel

Hello, well are you ready for another challenge over at PanPastel we are looking for
Pink and More Pink
I don't have pale pink PanPastel so just thought I would tell you that they mix fabulously I just scraped a little Magenta and white and mixed,just use as normal 

For my backing card,I put a piece of card through a dotty embossing folder then just sponged over some of my pink . My topper was made by stamping my image with Versamark and dusing over with the pink ,then I stamped my sentiment and cut the oval with a die. I then added the flowers and ribbon.xxx

Word Play Inspiration at Country View Challenges

Hello to you all,I am back with my second sample for Country View Crafts and the theme is 

"Word Play"
Sorry not so many pics of how I did this...silly me got so carried away I forgot to take them.

I started by inking my tag with Faded Jeans, Shaded Lilac and Black soot Distress inks while masking the moon. Then I stamped the images.

I coloured the raindrops  with picked Raspberry and Mustard Seed Distress inks, and then stamped on the quote with black Versafine ink

To finish off I added some gingham ribbon

Wow 33 not many more to go now....I love the tone on tone of this tag.

I first painted with Gesso and then blue acrylic paint...I then dabbed some denim Adirondak ink through a swirly stencil.Then I used some blue Sparkle Medium through a couple of leaf stencils used some coredinations for the bird and cage die and finnished off with some blue gingham. Hope you like it.xxx

Bold and Bright Inspiration

Hello, I am sharing my post for PanPastel  and the challenge for you is

Well I needed a childs birthday card so thought this would be the ideal image,It is from Penny Black called "Fishing Friends. I first stamped and coloured my image then stamped it again onto some scap card cut it out and used for a mask, I then coloured my background with PanPastels  again masking off the sun. I then added the sentiment and number 7.xxx

Happy Birthday for Chocolate Baroque

Hello to you all, I am back with another sample made from the new stamps that have just been released for August over at Chocolate Baroque. My card uses one of the stamps from  the "Thistle Butterfly"  stamp sheet which I have inked up and coloured Dusty Concord and Bundled Sage  Distress inks. I then inked around the edge  again with Dusty Concord and then matted this onto white card.......

My background was made by inking all over with Dusty Concord Distress ink and then over stamping with another one of the stamps from the sheet.  The butterfly has been inked up with the same colour too and cut out. All that was left to do was to assemble it all together and add the sentiment.

 For some reason the purple button shows as blue.xxx
