Embossing Inspiration

Hello to you all,well you have one week left to enter the Embossing Challenge over at PanPastel
I started by putting my backing card through a dotty embossing folder then lightly sponging over with my Turquoise PanPastel.. I then embossed another piece of white card with a free folder.The Dragonfly has been die-cut and embossed using card that I coloured with my Pans....Last of all came the sentiment which has been clear embossed with Distress Ink.xxx

A wooden Hanging

Hello to you all, I have been messing with some wood, I had two plaques and got my son to cut the center out of one to form an aperture . I coated them both with Gesso and then dark blue acrylic.

When this was dry I the gave a coat of light blue I left this to dry then gave it a rub with sandpaper to reveal the dark blue underneath...

I then went through a leaf stencil with some  Imaginaton Crafts Sparkle Medium...I glued some burlap to the back and added the flowers before gluing both pieces together.xxx

Hello to you all, I am using a very cute stamp today,he is called Hello Pumpkin from Unity Stamp Co. I have clear embossed the image with Black Archival and coloured  with Promarkers. The papers are from Nitwits and I have also distressed the edges a little.xxx

Nautical Inspiration at Country View

Hello to you all,I am back with my second sample for Country View Crafts and the theme is
Nautical
I must apologise I have not got any photo's of  how this was made but will explain my steps.
I first started by tearing some paper to form the hills and inked these up with Bundled Sage distress ink ,after this I punched out a circle and used it to mask off a moon and using Faded Jeans distress ink  inked up the sky..

My sea was also made using Faded Jeans and a white pen.....My ship stamp was inked up with Black Versafine and to get the reflection I first stamped onto some scrap paper and then onto my sea,I then inked it up and stamped it the right way round...The sentiment was last to be inked up and stamped. xxx

Harmony Girl

Hello to you all,well got the garden tidied yesterday and my poor bones know all about it today.....I have another tag today,I took delivery of this gorgeous stamp yesterday.It is called Harmony Girl from Unity Stamps. I think I will be using this a lot....I have used the colours from the Unity"Be Inspired" Challeng. I made the background using PanPastels stamped the image with black Archival ink and used a stencil here and there.

Snow Friends at Chocolate Baroque

Hello to you all, I am sharing a sample made from the new stamps that have just been released for September over at Chocolate Baroque. My card uses a couple of the stamps from the Snowy Penguins stamp sheet.
I first stamped my images onto some white card and coloured in with Promarkers,inked around the edges with Faded Jeans Distress Ink,my background was made by stamping a snowflake with faded jeans Distress ink.xxx

Embossing at PanPastel

We have a new challenge starting at PanPastel this week, we would like to see all your

Embossing
I have used the new Pearlescent colours for this tag today.six new yummy colours have been released...I started by putting my tag through my bigshot using  my heart dies, instead of cutting I embossed it.
I then coloured the outside and a different colour from the inside the heart.I then cut a smaller heart and put that through the dotty embossing folder and coloured that....Next I stamped my sentiment with black Archival over some card that I coloured with my Pans. I inked all the edges with Black Soot Distress ink and last of all doodled around the edges.xxx

Tone on Tone

Hello to you all, gosh where has the sun gone???? haven't seen it here in Sheffield for days now ,so damp,dark and drizzly......Anyway I have been having a play with my Sparkle Medium and a bit of tone on tone...I have had murder trying to get a good photo of this though.....

My background has been made with Denim Adirondak ink. I put some Perriwinkle Sparkle medium through a Paper Artsy Stencil....I did this in two stages because of the layout of the stencil.I then framed it all with a gelly pen. xxx

Chocolate Baroqque Challenge 3

Hello to you all,wow we are at challenge 3 for our colour challenge at Chocolate Baroque and the colours this month are

Gorgeous Autumnal colours

I have made a tag... I started by inking up my tag withPumice Stone and Squeezed Lemonade Distress inks. I then edged all round with Gathered Twigs Stamped the lovely Eastern Grasses using Black Archival then coloured in with Rusty Hinge.....Using Rusty Hinge again I stamped the Harlequin Fragments after first stamping onto a scrap of paper....The words I used from one of the sentiments from the Birthday Words

A Tissue Doll

Hello to you all, I am sharing a canvas today,it is for the challenge over at Craft Stamper for the Take it Make it challenge which is Stamping on tissue....If you have ever tried stamping on canvas you will find it is easier stamping on tissue first and then sticking it to the canvas.... I started by painting  my background  with gesso then blue acrylic while this was drying stamped my Prima doll and Eifle Tower onto tissue using Black Archival...I coloured the doll with coloured pencils. I then glued the tissue down with watered down PVA glue. when dry masked off the doll and stamped the script.

I then used some stencils on the background

Frame It inspiration at PanPastel

Hello, you still have another week to enter the challenge over at  PanPastel

Frame It
I have used PanPastels for both my background and image I started with a piece of white card and just sponged over with Magenta,after sealing I then stamped my image with Achival ink and using a fine damp paintbrush started colouring my image with Panpastels. I then sealed it again then stamped my words and drew in the frames.xxx

A Christmas Plaque for Chocolate Baroque

Hello to you all, I am sharing a sample made from the new stamps that have just been released for September over at Chocolate Baroque. I have made a plaque using one of the stamps from the "Santa Baby"stamp sheet
I first gave this a coat of gesso, when dry gave a thin coat of red and white acrylics leaving it white where I wanted to place my stamp... The image has then been coloured with Distress inks. I then stamped the sentiment and bauble and coloured this,Last of all I edged the plaque with white acrylic to frame it.xxx

I have alo made a card using the Christmas tree from the Santa Baby stamp sheet 

I first of all stamped both the tree and sentiment with Versamark onto blue coredinations card and gold embossed them both. 

They were then matted onto gold card and mounted onto my backing card which was made using a Gelly Plate, blue and gold acrylic paint .xx

A sparkling Christmas

Hello to you all I am sharing a Christmas card today using some Clarity Trees.....

( I know  but it is September and it will soon be  Christmas)....

I made my background by tearing some paper to resemble hills and used as a mask. I have used Weathered Wood distress ink for the entire card even stamped the trees with it....The sentiment has been die cut out of card that I coloured with Weathered Wood Distress ink,I then went around the letters with white pen to make it more 3D,I finished off by glittering the trees to make them look frosty.xxx

Wall Tag 35

I am sharing  Tag 35 today and I am back to blue....

I first put some texture paste through a leaf stencil, die-cut my trellis and frayed some burlap. once dry I attached these to my tag then painted with some blue acrylic followed  with a dry coat of white acrylic. I have also rubbed some silver wax here and there.xxx
