I have a tag to share today, I thought I needed some messy crafting . Parchment craft is not so messy.

I have inked and used texture paste through a stencil and used the gorgeous Tims butterfly stamp.xxx

I am sharing some more Parchment, I have coloured a little on this and must say it was easier than

I thought.

The flowers were just a Jpeg image I found on the internet, I just traced these onto the Parchment paper and embossed... I have used a couple of the Groovi boards from Clarity... I love the netting one behind the flowers. I think I will use this a lot.xxx

Well I have another Parchment card to share with you...I am really pleased with the results

of this, I have used a few new techniques, and my snipping is starting to improve nicely.xxx

Fiskarettes Share

Hello...

I am sharing a Pin Cusion today This was made for the Fiskarettes Facebook page. I actually saw this

on Pinterest some time ago and I am sorry but cannot find it now.

 1) Assemble a few bits together

2) Glue a piece of fabric around the pot with  and attach a bow and button. 

Push some pillow stuffinginto the toe end of an old clean tight and tie the end. 

3)Using the Circle Fabric Cutter cut a piece of fabric twice the diameter of the pot .

 I cut a 5inch circle as my pot was 2.5inches. Now just tack a small hem all round and draw up the cotton so it fits around 

the stuffing and pack it into the pot.

Quite a useful item

Another Parchment

Hello

I am back with more Parchment craft, I have discovered a new way of attaching

the parchment paper to my card.

The Parchment has been left wide enough to wrap around the card and the stitched in the fold. I also kept the corners down with strips of card.xxx

Thursdays Parchment

I am still on a learning curve and really enjoyed this piece, I have used a selection of plates
from the Groovi collection and getting plenty of embossing practice... I don't feel confident
to colour yet (I don't want to ruin my hard work.

I am still practicing the Picot edging.xxx

I am sharing a tag today.

I decided to get the distress inks out and get messy...

And of course using the gorgeous Butterfly stamp of Tims. I have had more use out of this stamp than any other I own, I love it  I have also used a couple of stencils.xxx

Thursdays Parchment

Hello to you all, I am sharing a card using some more Parchment.. 

I have used a Unity Stamp from the KOM Jan 2015 for the image. I just stamped this onto some card and traced this onto some parchment with a white pencil.....Then I embossed the image with a ball tool.

The papers I have used were from one of the  really cheap pads I bought from The Works some weeks ago, they are fabulous papers..   I attached my Parchment to a Diecut card.

More Parchment

Hello to you all

I am back with some more Parchment, this time I traced a stamp I had and and finished it the original way. I tried some Picot cutting around the edge, more practice needed but am quite happy with it.

I have attached it to a diecut piece of card.

Well here I am as promised with some more Parchment craft....I have used A clarity Groovi plate for this... I loved using it...

The process is made so much easier with the Groovi Plate, don't get me wrong you still need to do shading and snipping and other Parchment techniques and those I am still learning.

Anyway I hope you like it.xxx

Parching

I decided 2017 would be the year I taught myself a new craft....I have been toying with the idea of Parchment craft for a while now,  so armed with a few tools of the trade I have started my Parching Journey...........

After much practise and torn papers I found I was happy enough to share this piece..

I have just treated myself to the Groovi system by Clarity Stamps.. I did think it was cheating at first but feel it can be incorporated with the real craft.....So watch this space, I will let you know

how I get on with it when I receive it.xxx
