Seasons

I got myself a couple of Clarity stencils and stamps when I was at Port Sunny the other week after watching a You Tube video of Barbara using them. Anyway this is my version of it. I am entering this into the Clarity Challenge which is "Seasons" I hope this looks wintery

I shall put a sentiment on it when I treat myself to some Clarity ones.

It is well worth watching Barbaras videos,she gives good ideas of how to use all her goodies.xxx

Hello to you all,I have made this card for Indigo Blu whose challenge this week is a sketch. I don't often do sketches but thought I would give it a go using the "Sarah's Choice" stamp sheet and some distress inks.xxx

Witches Brew for Chocolate Baroque

Hello to you all, I am back again sharing another sample made from the new stamps that have just been released for October over at Chocolate Baroque.  My card uses a couple of stamps from "Book of Spells"stamp sheet.I first die-cut an oval to use as a stencil for my moon and sky I used Shaded Lilac distress ink and Egg Plant Adirondack inks for the background .I then stamped my main image with Black Archival and coloured the flames with Promarkers.Last of all to be stamped  was the cobwebs and sentiment.xxx

Autumn Inspiration at PanPastel

Hello to you all,well you have one week left to enter the Autumn Challenge over at PanPastel
I have Blended my background using Permanent Red,Diarylide Yellow and Burnt Sienna Shade..Next I inked through a couple of stencils with Versamark followed by Burnt Sienna Shade,My Bird on a wire image was stamped and then I went in with an eraser to take out the colour  on their bellies. Last of all came the fab sentiment.xxx

Hello to you all,I am sharing a card made with a couple of Lavinia stamps, Dandilions and Leaf Trail

I first coloured my background with Spiced Marmalade,Mustard Seed and Burlap Distress inks,masking off the moon and hills. My stamps were then inked up with black Archival,and last of all the sentiment.xxx

Whoops, I have used this stamp again,different colour this time but still using the Gelato's. I am enjoying using these at the moment.  I have clear embossed the stamp with black Archival ink and distressed the edges with Black Soot Distress Ink. I am off to catch up on my commenting now.xxx

Wall Tag 37

Hello to you all,wow I am shattered,I have just spent the past three days sorting and categorising  all my stamps.. I have only been stamping for five years but have hundreds of stamps I didn't realise just how many I did have till I started sorting..I must say though they look fab now and I can see all I have...I still have a way to go but hopefully a couple more days should see it finished.

Any way while having a break last night I made wall tag 37. I have used various stamps and stencils for this also Distress Inks.xxx

Hello to you all,I am sharing a card I made using a new colouring medium,well for me. I treated myself to some Faber Castell Gelato's, and I am so pleased I did. They are so different to anything else I have been using.....Any way my background for this card was produced using them. And I am sure I will improve with practice. The stamp has been clear embossed with black Archival ink.xxx

Autumn at PanPastel

We have a new challenge starting at PanPastel this week, we would like to see anything to do with

Autumn
I have made my background by shading Diarylide Yellow, Permanent Red Ultramarine Blue and Burnt Sienna Shade,I then sealed this with some cheap hairspray,next I stamped my image using black Archival ink and coloured in with PanPastels,I then stamped the sentiment and tied on some twine and a button.xxx

Once Upon a Midnight for Chocolate Baroque

Hello to you all, I am back this time  sharing a sample made from the new stamps that have just been released for October over at Chocolate Baroque.  My card uses a couple of stamps from "Things that go Bump" stamp sheet. I first stamped my main image onto some white card,masked off the moon and coloured my background with Faded Jeans and Squeezed Lemonade Distress inks..Then used faded Jeans again through a leaf stencil... Then using Black Archival stamped the toadstools and sentiment.xxx

Sparkle and Shine Inspiration

Hello to you all,I am back with my second sample for Country View Crafts and the theme is
Sparkle and Shine

 I have another Christmas card to share, well when I think of sparkle and shine I think glitter.

1. I first inked my card with Spun Sugar Distress ink

2. Followed by Dusty concord,leaving it lighter in the center. I then spritzed with some water.

3.I then stamped my image with Black Archival ink slightly to the left allowing room for my sentiment.

4. Next I stamped my sentiment again with Black Archival ink

5. I then got my glue pen and dotted around the trees and on the flourishes of the sentiment.

Last of all I matted it onto some purple and white card.

Reach for the Stars

Hello to you all,my card share today uses a Phyllis Harris stamp this is called "Reach for the Stars" I first made my background with PanPastels then stamped my image with Archival ink. I then got an eraser and rubbed out the Pans where I was to colour my image  then coloured her and the cat with distress inks. The good thing about PanPastels is that you can rub out where you don't want them.

I then stamped the sentiment and glittered up the stars.xxx

Sparkle and Shine at Country View

Hello to you all, We have a new challenge starting today over at Country View Challenges and our theme for this month is

Sparkle and Shine

I have made a Christmas card today

I started by masking a moon and making my background with Weathered Wood Distress ink,I then stamped some rocks .

Next I stamped in the tree trunks , fir trees and some more rocks all this stamping was done in Weathered wood..I am trying to make it look misty and frosty

I then stamped in the stag and some grasses

I have gone round the edges and corners with Black soot Distress ink to frame my picture.. I Then stamped my sentiment and went in with a glue pen and glitter where I thought the frost would be.
