Challenge 8 at Chocolate Baroque

Hello to you all ,well we are up to challenge 8 over at Chocolate Baroque and we have some scrumptious colours for you to play with this month

I first made my background with PanPastels "Violet-Permanent Red and Diarylide Yellow. My image from the Harebell Butterfly sheet was then stamped up with Black Versafine ink then I coloured in the image with Acrylic paint and Distress inks.xxx

Hello to you all, I am sharing a Door Plaque with you today, I have taken inspiration from Jo Myhill and have up-cycled a piece of chipboard. I first gave it a good coating of Gesso once dry started brayering on Inky Pool,Sky and SnowFlake fresco paints just putting on very little paint and  letting the layers dry in-between finishing off with Snowflake, I have tried to give it a driftwood look and think I achieved this. (Love the Texture)

The stamps I have used are from Electica by Lin Brown , love this set and think I will get lots of use from them. Hope you like it

A Touch of Red

Indigo Blu are looking for a "Touch of Red" this month. I must admit I haven't entered their challenge for a couple of months,anyway I have been playing with  Sarah's Choice" set of stamps and made a tag. I first covered the entire tag with Weathered Wood distress ink then stamped various stamps from the  set in Weathered Wood,Black Soot, Fired Brick and Faded Jeans distress inks. I have edged the tag with Black Soot and added some ribbon.xxx

I first made my background using my PanPastels while masking off the moon and using a mask for the hills. Next came my Stamps, I used a Tree set from Inkylicious  and a black Versafine inkpad .The die-cut sentiment.is from My Favorite Things.

Paper Artsy and Paint

Hello to you all, I have been messing with Fresco paints and a brayer for this share.
Over on the Paper Artsy blog I was inspired by Lynne Moncrieff and her subtle background and use of flowers and mixing paints to get other colours.

 My background was actually made with a brayer after watching a video by Leandra of PaperArtsy and I loved the technique ....I used this background for my card and I used JOFY 24 stamp set for my images. I coloured them in with more Fresco paints and added a sentiment. I hope you like it.xxx

Sketchy Flowers 2 Chocolate Baroque

Hello to you all, I am sharing another sample made from the new stamps that have just been released for February at Chocolate Baroque.

Sketchy Doodle Flowers
I started by inking my card with Distress inks Spiced Marmalade, Broken China and Picked Raspberry,then  sprayed some water through a circle stencil and after a few seconds dabbed it with some tissue . I then  stamped my main image with Black Archival ink. I cut a piece off the top of my card to use for the sentment. I then matted this onto some white card to make it pop.xxx

Hello to you all. I am sharing a card I made using the new Simply Floral Collection from Docrafts.
This is a very pretty collection perfect for Mum or Sister cards. I have also used the X-Cut Filligree Heart die .

Hello to you all, the card I am sharing today uses a gorgeous Unity stamp this is from the Jan KOM.  I have coloured this with distress inks and placed it onto one of my Gelli backgrounds. Finished off with ribbon, flowers and a tag. I hope you like it.xxx

A Simple Hello

Hello ........I am sharing another moonscape today a bit of a different colour for a change. I have used a couple of  stamps from Inkylicious.

The distress inks I used for the background are Fired Brick,Vintage Photo and Black soot. I hope you like it

Drips and Drops 2 for Country View Crafts

Hello to you all, I am back with my second share for  Country View Challenges and our theme for this month is

Drips and Drops

I started by inking up a water colour tag with Scattered Straw and Salty ocean Distress inks

I spitzed this with water and let it drip down, when dry

I then splashed water from my finger tips and dabbed dry with tissue

The Indigo Blu stamps were then inked up with black Versafine 

Last of all I added the words, ribbon and butterfly and inked around the edges with Black Soot Distress ink

I have first made a background with Acrylic paints before stamping my image and sentiment with Black Versafine ink.

Sketchy Doodle Flowers

I started by inking my card with Distress inks Spiced Marmalade, Broken China and Picked Raspberry,then  sprayed some water through a circle stencil and after a few seconds dabbed it with some tissue . I then lightly stamped one of the flower images in the background and  stamped my main image with Black Arcival ink.

Using some distress inks I then coloured in some of the leaves. Last of all came the sentiment,from the Mackintosh clear sentiment set.xxx

Hello to you all,we have a new challenge today over at  PanPastels

The challenge is

I first started by getting the heart stencil and spreading some Maimeri Modeling paste through it..After this dried I then covered the whole card with Raw Umber PanPastel. My image has been stamped and coloured with Raw Umber Pan and Permanent Red

Drips and Drops at Country View

Hello to you all,we have a brand new challenge for you over at  Country View Crafts and the theme is

Drips and Drops

My drips and drops come in the form of a technique and a Raindrops stamp.

I started by inking my background with Seedless Preserves and Weathered Wood distress inks.When this was dry I then dripped some water over the whole tag,left it for 30 seconds and then dabbed the water off

I then inked up my stamp with black Archival ink and coloured with some white Acrylic paint

I then over stamped with some verse, a flourish and some Raindrops and finished off with some more words and a butterfly.xxx
