Some Gelli Work



Hello to you all.............
I have been playing with my Gelli plate and thought I would share a card I made .

I tried to make it look as if the sun is shining through all the squares. I think I achieved that.

The stamp is from Tim Holtz which I clear embossed and coloured with distress ink.
Hope you like it.

Crochet progress



Wow!!!!!! I can't believe it is over a month since my last blog post.
I thought I would show you the progress of my Crochet Throw, this has been such a learning curve.


The squares are each 7inches and I have four each of twelve paterns


I can't wait to show you the finished throw.

A Crochet Bag

Hello to you all....Well I think my paper crafting and card making has definitely been put on the back boiler at the moment, I have just lost all interest in card making at the moment which is why I went looking for something else to fill the hours....So I have some more crochet to share today...I used you tube again for the inspiration for this project and I must say I love it.. It is just a huge granny square turned into a bag.....I have lined it and decorated with the pompoms and some crochet flowers.




I have just bought 14 balls of yarn to make a  Throw it is a Crochet along project with a facebook group in which you just follow along with a pattern on a weekly basis. I shall also be sharing my progress with you.

Quirky Flowers

Hello ...

It is my Granddaughter Ava's 8th birthday soon . It only seem like yesterday when she was born ,
I know she likes sort of quirky so hoping
this will be right up her streeet
I have painted my backgrounds with  acrylic paint the numbers were then stamped with distress ink. The flowers were punched out of some more painted papers and the number 8 was die cut from some chipboard and then I painted and glittered it.xxx

Use a Stencil For Country View # 39

Hello to you all, We have a new challenge starting today over at Country View Challenges and our theme for this month is

Use a Stencil

This month alongside our Challenge, we are also running a Blog Hop with a Sizzix Big Shot Machine & Die Bundle as the prize. To enter, you must be a Follower of our Challenge Blog and Hop along to each of our Design Team Members Blogs and leave a comment. We will still be running our normal monthly challenge and those who link their Use A Stencil projects will also be entered into our £20 Voucher draw. I have made a background of Deco art paints and a PaperArtsy stencil using my Gelli Plate


I then stamped the sentiment and inked the edges with Black Soot Distress ink


I then stamped and coloured my butterfly before fussy cutting and 
adding it to my finished piece.xxx
