Hello to you all,I am back with my second sample for Country View Crafts and the theme is
Bugs,Bee's and Butterflies

This is actually a happy mistake, I had bird on my mind as one of the Bs when I started but didn't want to change it so added the butterflies !!!!
I started by scribbling some Gelatos over my white card
I am entering this into
Artistic Inspirations "Anything Goes"
Crafting from The Heart "Anything Goes"
Through the Purple Haze "Anything Goes"
Loves Rubber Stamps "Anything Goes"

This is actually a happy mistake, I had bird on my mind as one of the Bs when I started but didn't want to change it so added the butterflies !!!!
I started by scribbling some Gelatos over my white card
I used a baby wipe to gently blend my colours,making sure not to over blend,then go in with the heat gun to make sure it is dry.
I then inked through a leaf stencil with Burlap Distress ink
I then stamped my bird with Black Archival ink,If you get a baby wipe you can wipe away some of the Gelato from inside the image lines.
Then coloured in with distress inks
I painted in a branch to give the bird some grounding
I then stamped some butterflies and the sentiment
Finally finished off by inking around the edge with Black Soot Distress ink and mounting it onto black card

You have made this look so easy Doreen and it is gorgeous. When I try making backgrounds I just end up making a mess.

Your bird is gorgeous and I love the background too... In fact you have re-acquainted me with Linen card and I have used it with Pan Pastels already!
